Secure State Cyber Hires a New CEO

Secure State Cyber, an advanced cybersecurity consultancy firm, announced Mats Olofsson as its new Chief Executive Officer effective 20 August 2018. Mats, the former Chairman of the Secure State Cyber Board, will help the company meet its rapidly increasing international demand for cyber security services.

Mats, a certified board member, has extensive international experience from leading companies in the Aviation and Defence Industry. He has had previous success merging acquired companies into existing organizations, while also implementing new company structures. Mats is a specialist at working in the private market and during his career has held positions such as Country Manager, Director of Business Development, Director of Partners & Acquisitions, Regional Sales Manager, Senior Advisor and Project Leader.

Mats stated, “I am excited and humbled to help lead Secure State Cyber into the next chapter. The information security industry in Sweden is facing higher demands than ever seen before, and we are poised to fill this demand.”

Ulrika Nilsson said, “Mats has demonstrated great energy and passion as chairman of the board and it seemed only natural that he led the firm as CEO.” Ulrika, previously Secure State Cyber’s CEO, will now be taking a more prominent role in Secure State Cybers international expansion and marketing strategies.
